The American Acoustasonic Telecaster has Fender's specially-developed SIRS technology on board. It's a stunning instrument that's essentially a hybrid of an electro-acoustic and an electric guitar. The Acoustic Engine electronics were developed in collaboration with legendary brand Fishman and allow you to quickly switch between acoustic piezo and electric guitar sounds with ease. With the special Mod potentiometer, you can choose between 10 different body style and tone wood combinations or even mix them together for a sound that's truly unique.

The Acoustasonic Telecaster has a neck made of mahogany with a modern deep C profile and an ebony fretboard that's sure to appeal to both acoustic and electric guitar players. Although the neck is bolted on to the body, the Acoustasonic Telecaster is a flat-top hollow-body. That means it produces a good amount of sound even when it's not plugged in. Perfect for off-stage performance without an amplifier or PA set up. As its name suggests, the American Acoustasonic Telecaster is made in the USA in Fender's factory in Corona, California.
